This was from the third Bas Rutten Invitational tournament, June 1999. Jens Pulver (2-1 at the time) meets up with a 16-year-old Joe Stevenson (2-0); things do not go well for Joe Daddy. Stevenson crumbles after the first left uppercut landed by Pulver, and the fight is stopped in just 38 seconds, which is a good thing since Jens jacks his hand up pretty badly in the process. Pulver would make his UFC debut — a draw against Alfonso Alcarez at UFC 22 — just three months later.
