Round 1: Mike Wessel began the final first round fight by coming out swinging against Marcus Jones. Jones calmly withstood the wild onslaught putting his hands up and out to protect himself. When Wessel tried to clinch and go for a trip takedown, Big Baby used good technique and some muscle to throw the smaller man down and gain top control. He immediately went for a kimura. Wessel escaped but got caught as Jones took his back. Jones was a little sloppy in allowing Wessel to spin out of that position, but out of nowhere, Jones showed the moxy of a 10-year veteran by slapping on a vicious armbar. Wessel yelped in pain and verbally tapped. All that in 49 seconds giving Team Rampage its first and only win.
