As episode 9 opens Dan Henderson tells Team US that welterweight (Team Roy's) Jason Pierce has been pulled from the show due to injury. (Team Roxanne's) Frank Lester, missing teeth, bruised face and all, wants a shot at redemption, and Dana White gives it to him.
(Team Roy's) David Faulkner vs. (Team Roxanne's) Frank Lester
There is not a whole lot of action in the first round, but Faulkner won the round. As the second round begins Faulkner is obviously gassed and Lester is able to pick him apart with shots from the thai clinch. As the round ends both coaches tell there fighter to be ready for a third round. Dana White announces that the fight is a draw and will go to a third round. Faulkner is too tired to continue and is unable to answer the bell. With the win, Frank Lester is the last fighter to move on to the Semi-Finals.
